Milesa is a Clinical Psychologist from New Zealand, who gained her qualifications in this area to ensure that her values were in line with her career. She enjoys developing a deep connection with clients from a variety of backgrounds and is passionate about working along-side minority ethnic groups. She predominantly uses Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Meta-cognitive Therapy (MCT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has engaged in both assessment and treatment of clients in a diverse range of settings which include general adult mental health, community alcohol and drug problems, eating disorders and reintegration services for offenders. However, her passion is deeply rooted in delivering treatment for adolescents and adults with anxiety and mood difficulties. She approaches therapy with a strong, goal-driven formulation which allows her clients to understand and manage their psychological difficulties.
