Description

Shelby is a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.  She has experience supporting clients with anxiety disorders and other mental health difficulties across a range of settings including; inpatient and outpatient hospital services, forensic settings and community clinics. She has also conducted research on affective disorders in fathers within the postnatal period. She enjoys working with a broad range of people and has a particular interest in anxiety within the context of health conditions, specifically psycho-oncology and difficulties experienced within the perinatal period. She develops a comprehensive case formulation and collaborates with clients to identify treatment goals.  She uses primarily Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in her work.
