Katie is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Katie has completed a Master of Psychology (Clinical) and gained experience within a variety of settings including public mental health, an outpatient hospital service, and school outreach. Katie has a compassionate, warm, and collaborative approach to therapy. She strives to create a comfortable environment to support children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Katie utilises a comprehensive formulation and develops a tailored evidence-based treatment plan to meet the individual needs of her clients. She works from a variety of therapeutic frameworks and primarily uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as Metacognitive Therapy (MCT). Katie works with clients across a broad range of mental health concerns and life challenges. Katie has an interest in supporting individuals of all ages affected by anxiety disorders including generalised anxiety and social anxiety as well as anxiety in the context of the workplace, school environment, health conditions, and difficult life transitions
