Sherwynna is a Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. She has experience working collaboratively with clients across the lifespan in inpatient and outpatient hospital services (i.e. CYMHS, Evolve Therapeutic Service, Adult Community Mental Health Services). She uses an integrative approach in therapy drawing from her training in numerous evidence-based therapeutic frameworks including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Structural and Systemic Family Therapies, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Informed (DBT-informed). Her therapeutic style can best be described as compassionate and flexible but structured. She is passionate about supporting her clients to develop a deeper awareness of their lives and circumstances and to develop effective coping strategies to take steps towards a more meaningful and fulfilling life. She will be available for appointments on Monday and Fridays.
