Sean is a General Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). He completed his Masters degree at Monash University and is pursuing endorsement as an Educational and Developmental Psychologist through his work at Anxiety House. Sean has experience working with a diverse range of child and adolescent clients within schools, university, and private practice. He is especially passionate about helping young people overcome challenges related to Anxiety, Autism and ADHD.

Sean’s therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. He is a person-centred practitioner, tailoring treatment to suit the unique challenges, strengths, preferences, and goals of the individual. Sean understands that while some clients respond well to highly structured and goal-directed therapy, others prefer a more reflective therapeutic space to explore their thoughts and feelings. He treats his clients with respect, empathy, and autonomy in mind, providing a warm, engaging, and non-judgemental therapeutic space. When working with children, he adopts a play-based approach, using humour and fun to engage and support young clients towards their therapeutic goals. Sean especially enjoys incorporating his clients’ special interests within therapeutic activities to create a memorable and personalised experience.

Sean is skilled in psychoeducational and neurodevelopmental assessment, including the diagnosis of ADHD, giftedness, intellectual disability, and specific learning disorders (e.g. dyslexia, dyscalculia). He can produce reports for individuals, families, and NDIS to support his clients in understanding themselves and gaining access to helpful supports and accommodations in their everyday life.
