Jess is a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a specialized focus on relationship skills and the cultivation of a strong working alliance in therapeutic settings. Her research and academic journey have been dedicated to unravelling the intricacies of interpersonal dynamics within the therapeutic context and the importance of care that is centred around a person’s individual needs.
Jess’s passion lies in making a positive impact on the lives of children, adolescents, and young adults. With a specialized focus on this demographic, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise to address a diverse array of psychological challenges. Her experience spans working in both emergency, inpatient and outpatient hospital services, including Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS) and Adult Community Mental Health Services.
Using an integrative therapeutic approach, Jessica draws from a variety of evidence-based frameworks, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Structural and Systemic Family Therapies, Schema Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). This versatility allows her to tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering a holistic and effective therapeutic experience. She believes in the importance of a comprehensive formulation and develops a tailored evidence-based treatment plan to meet the individual needs of her clients.
Jess’s compassionate, warm, and collaborative demeanour creates a safe space for her clients to express themselves. She recognizes the importance of understanding and addressing the distinct challenges that children, adolescents, and young adults face, working diligently to provide not only support but also empowering tools for lasting positive change.

Selection Criteria
- Masters and/or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
- Eligible for registration with AHPRA as an endorsed “Clinical Psychologist” or eligibility for the clinical psychology registrar program
- Eligible for Medicare registration
