She works collaboratively with clients to help tailor evidence based techniques to their needs. Tanya is proficient in the treatment of all mood and anxiety disorders. She also assists adults with ADHD to maximise their quality of life. She is passionate about helping people to understand how to recognise and maintain healthy relationships and is interested in how attachment patterns formed in childhood influence this. She has a particular interest in how trauma impacts the nervous system and is continuously extending her skills in the treatment of the same. She uses a combination of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, incorporating principles from interpersonal neurobiology and polyvagal theory.
