Mimi is a Clinical Psychology Registrar, who completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland. Mimi has experience working with individuals across the life space, and is passionate creating a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for all.
Mimi’s style is warm and down-to-earth, and she takes a client-centred approach to therapy, valuing each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and perspectives. Mimi works collaboratively with her clients, working closely with them to address their unique challenges and goals. Mimi provides a validating and warm environment by fostering genuine and transparent conversations and finding moments of humour along the way.
Mimi tailors and offers evidence-based treatments to assist her clients to make meaningful changes in their lives. With experience supporting clients through challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions and adjustment, perfectionism, and trauma. Mimi’s therapeutic approach draws upon tools and principles from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy.
