Sophie is a Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. She has a Master of Clinical Psychology and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Sophie has an empathic and warm therapeutic style and she takes a compassionate and non-judgemental approach to therapy. She believes authenticity and connection are important in the therapy process and with her down-to-earth nature and practical evidence-based approach Sophie will assist you to develop tools to navigate life’s challenges, develop a greater understanding about yourself, break unhelpful patterns, and live a richer, more meaningful life.
Sophie has worked with people across acute and community public hospital systems as well as private practice. She has expertise assisting with a range of difficulties, including anxiety and mood disorders, OCD, burnout and stress, relationships and dating, and coping with significant life transitions and change.
With each unique person, there is a unique approach and Sophie works collaboratively with you to find the right fit that is most suited to your needs and goals. She draws on a wide range of therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), attachment theory, and mindfulness-based approaches.

Selection Criteria
- Masters and/or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
- Eligible for registration with AHPRA as an endorsed “Clinical Psychologist” or eligibility for the clinical psychology registrar program
- Eligible for Medicare registration
- Professional indemnity insurance
