Sze (pronounced as ‘zee’) is a Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is a registered Medicare provider and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Sze worked in the public outpatient, private practice, university and corrective centre settings, in Australia and overseas. She enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan and pays attention to their developmental needs. Sze has worked with children and adults presenting with various issues (e.g., low mood, suicidal ideation, grief and loss, sudden changes/adjustment difficulty, chronic stress, relationship issues, health issues, Autism Spectrum Disorder), and she has a special interest in anxiety and trauma (e.g., generalised anxiety, social anxiety, illness anxiety, panic attacks, complex/childhood trauma, acute trauma).

Sze believes that a safe and consistent therapeutic environment is essential for recovery and growth. Therefore, her therapy style is client-focused and has an emphasis on self-compassion, mindfulness, problem solving and small achievable steps. She draws techniques from therapy approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Play Therapy.
